DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Brandon Easterling, Dayton
Junior | Safety Fairborn, Ohio
Easterling tied PFL records with three interceptions and a 100-yard pick six as Dayton rallied for a 46-29 PFL win at Drake, Saturday. His pick six could not come at a better time, denying Drake an opportunity to go ahead by 10 points at halftime and instead giving Dayton its first lead of the contest. The Flyers carried that momentum into the second half as they built a 17-point lead before Drake would respond again. Easterling led the Flyers with 15 tackles (10 solo) and amassed 138 yards on his three interceptions. He picked off passes on consecutive Drake drives – a five-yard return helping setup a Dayton scoring drive before he turned the tide with his 100-yard return. Easterling also picked off a pass with a 33-yard return to setup Dayton’s final scoring drive.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Drew Bevelhimer, Butler
Senior | Kicker Indianapolis, Indiana
Bevelhimer made the most of a second chance, kicking a 38-yard field goal on the final play of the game to give Butler a 24-21 PFL victory against Valparaiso and ownership of the Hoosier Helmet. Butler used two quick strikes and a personal foul to set up Bevelhimer for a 42-yard attempt with two seconds remaining, but his kick fell short. However, Valparaiso was called for offsides and Bevelhimer did not miss on the now 38-yard attempt after time expired. He also converted on each of his three PATs and handled kickoff duties for the Bulldogs.
